Strepsils Halal Or Haram?
Here in the Uk the strepsils contain alcohol (2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol). Is it permissible to take?

Alcohol in wine is ethyl alcohol. This (ethyl) alcohol causes loss of understanding or “nasha”. Other alcohols don’t. Even glycerine is a type of alcohol. So every alcohol is not haram. secondly it is the drink which is haram and not alcohol per se. Nobody knew that wine contains alcohol few centuries earlier.
