We know and believe that quran is for entire human race till the day of judgement. Likewise, we also believe that quran is very related to its environment. We believe that quran is “sargazasht-e-Inzaar” of Muhammad SAW, quran doesn’t address the Kafirs but of his time, when it says “AlNass” its referring to only people of arabs or even a particular group of that people then

    1. How such a “local” book be regarded as for whole human race and being timeless?

    2. If it is Sargazasht-e-Inzaar then it would be much better to have arranged it according to order of revelation rather than current order. What is the hikmah in that? There is no effort made by sahaba RA to record the events and chronological order of revelation, its only but common sense to do that if Quran is telling story of Muhammad SAW’s struggle

    3. If other people extrapolate (Tashbeeh) Quranic injunctions about kafirs or people of the book to the non-muslims of today, then why do we say that those ayahs are time bound and only relevant to particular era? Extrapolation is the only way human knowledge progress

    4. If people and events r fixed in Quran then what is the reason NOT to take Quranic social rules and regulations be only relevant to the people of that time? How is quranic laws timeless?

All this feels like Doublethink, believing in 2 contradictory beliefs. I am sure there’s a satisfactory answer but I do not know it. Would appreciate if someone could clarify.
