There’s no right way cuz use of language and words is a dynamic and evolving process. Words keeps on changing form and meaning
For example word “Mazaq” meant habit or nature and now it means to joke. Both meanings r poles apart but the word remains the same
Word to word translation isn’t good because it renders Quran incoherent and unclear to an urdu speaking Muslim (true for all other languages too)
The right way of translation is to make the Quran,as close as possible, to the spoken language is been translated into

Quran is translated into any other language so that people of that language may be able to understand and comprehend the message of the Quran.
While a literal translation may be useful in certain situations, it won’t be enough for someone to comprehend the message of the Quran. In order to appreciate this point, one can try literally translating Ghalib or Iqbal, for example, into another language and judge for themselves whether or not such a translation communicates the intended meaning.
