Is Our Soul In Our Heart Or Brain?
Quran and Ghamidi Sahib state that our soul is in our heart, yet many people lived without a heart for a long period and retained their consciousness and personality. How would we explain this? Are we making a mistake in understand Quran? Is mention of heart in Quran is just symbolic?

we do not know and can not know what is soul? since we can not know what is really rooh/soul is, how can we know where and how it resides?
I believe that rooh is nothing but consciousness, not completely but part of.
If u have time then read this article, my be itll help resolve the issue somewhat

1:sir in case of heart transplant the human personality do not changes because the soul goes into new heart
2: similarly if a person living with artificial heart then his soul or personality goes into artificial heart.
