Ruju In Case Of Khula
I had asked for khula from my husband. He under pressure signed paper which lawyer had prepared but put a condition that I should not be there while he signs it. My lawyer confirmed that he signed it. I want to get back together with him now. When I spoke to him on phone he said that I should ask the Maulana what I have done and we can’t be together. It has been two years I really want to get back to him even he hasn’t married. Pls help me. Is it possible to get back together. My whole life will be spoiled. Pls help me. He hasn’t said anything in front of me and my family members. It’s question of my life. Can we be together again.

It depends upon the conditions under which divorce was being given by the husband after wife asked for khula. If it was a single divorce, then the couple can marry again with a new Nikkah if Iddat period has expired. If iddat period is still in progress, then ruju can be made during iddat period without entering into new Nikkah.
