I’ve been listening meezan lectures again, these lectures are from 2002. Under the tile “Deen ka Sahi Tasawur” ghamidi sahab explained the history of Bani Isreal and also explained its relevance and similarity to Bani Ismael.
He was right that this interpretation of history and Quran+bible force us to revisit long held notions about the whole deen and its requirements
I want to study this concept more academically to see if this is convincing to me or not. Offcourse it make lot of sense but also raise few questions about our history and historical narrative regarding interpretation of Quran and its relation to us, the late muslim ummah
Is their any written paper or book where either Ghamidi sahab or any other Almawrid scholar has explained this concept with the relevant ayahs, verses form Bible and historical records so i can study it in more detail?
