Why It’s Allowed Forceful Or Willing Sex With War Prisoners After Islamic Wars
Posted by Shahabuddin Mohammed Abdul on October 26, 2021 at 10:12 pmIn general the ill treatment with the captives of war prisoners is quite prevalent in the world. Why Islam is also allowed this practice to prevail and it allowed it’s soldiers have sex with captive women with out going in to wedlock ?

Moderator October 27, 2021 at 12:25 amIslam has closed the doors for slavery. At this time there is no room according to the sharia for holding anyone as a slave or a concubine. For details, please see:
Secondly, slaves and concubines already had lost their freedom not in just sexual matters, but in other domains of life as well. Therefore, Islam adopted a gradual approach in eradicating the menace of slavery, while making sure that this didn‘t lead to extreme societal reaction because slavery was the backbone of Arab’s economy at that time. Hence, certain norms related to slavery were kept for the time being for the current slaves, while doors for new slaves were closed, until the current slaves also found a way to stand on their feet.
Please refer to the following response by Ghamidi Sahab specifically addressing your question:

Member December 30, 2021 at 11:40 pmSalam Umar sahab,
Question: In this video Do Islam permit Sex Slave (Londi) | Javed Ahmad Ghamidi timestamp 4:29 ghamidi sahab says badar sai pelai bataya gaya ghulami ka qaideyon kai baray mai koi sawal nahee.A person propagating atheism has presented two hadeeth.
Claim1:says that rasool s.a.w wanted his relatives to get freed whilst Umar r.a wasnt convinced so then fidya was suggested by AbuBakar r.a in otherwords he says in badar the freeing of slaves was done because they were relatives rather than Surah Muhamad ayat 4 being a law to be followed after badar and beyond.(Says this is written in ibn katheer) ,
otherwise ghulamee was there even post badar era wars.
Proofs for slavery post badar wars given by him are saheeh muslim 1730a. Now says for same war that i mentioned, here in hadeeth saheeh bukhari 7409. In this hadeeth sex with prisoners has not been forbidden. So are they prisoners or slaves? Iss “sex” ko allow rakhna kion zaroori tha?Shukria

Eg i can present you another hadith where Prophet Mohammad saw has recommended to free the slave-girl.
https://sunnah.com/bukhari:2544Ghamidi sb and team is working on hadith project which will solve such problems hopefully. As soon as a topic is finished it published in ishraq. You can also see the hadith work on following link.

Slavery was considered okay back in those days. Allah didn’t like it though so he asked us to gradually move away from it.

Moderator January 1, 2022 at 7:01 pmCaptives who were slaves prior to their capture and, at certain instances, were distributed among people as slaves were an exception and the directive stated in the verse (47:4) never related to them. Most of the narrations usually presented in this regard relate to captives who were slaves prior to their capture. Consequently, if all the incidents of the Prophet’s times regarding prisoners of war are studied, it can be safely concluded that barring this exception and two others (ii. Brutal adversaries, as per the dictates of the law of Itmam-e-Hujjat and iii. The captives of the Banu Qurayzah), everything done was in conformity with the directive of Surah Muhammad.
