I heard Sheikh Assim al Hakeem saying that not only wiping on socks but also on shoes is allowed (please see link below). Any one aware of opinion of Ghamidi sb on this?

    Scenario:

I work in construction industry and wear concrete shoes and they get very messy. So wiping over those dirty messy shoes feel little odd to me. They are so messy that I have to wash my hands with hand soap again after wiping over them.

Is it allowed? If not, what do I need to do? Take my shoes off, wipe over socks and put the shoes on again? (Little difficult)

The principle involved in the rituals of worship is of Ease. if taking off shows is difficult, one is allowed to run a wet hand on them. it is just to keep the memory of washing feet alive. it is symbolical.

Thanks. Is there any link of Ghamidi sb explicitly mentioning about wiping over shoes?
