    It does not, it does not stop water to penetrate. however the goal of Ghusul is to get cleanliness. one should remove the dirt.

      Should dirt under the nails also be removed during wudu?

      And if I don’t remove dirt under the nails during wudu and ghusl, are they both valid? Will there be any blame/sin on me? I’m asking because it can be really hard sometimes to remove material under the nails.

    yes Wudu will be valid in this case.

    There is no hardship in religion.
