Is it require for someone to repent for his/her minor sins or to stop himself from these things is what required and the repentance and forgiveness is for major sins.

Example:- Drinking alcohol, eating pork, kissing a non-mehram or all the things done but not the actual penetration(as I’ve understood these are preventive measures and obviously one must obey the preventive measure to stop himself from the major act but all these acts will be considered as a sin when the actual fornication will take place. So one may put these acts done before the fornication in the category of minor sins or only in the preventive measure or both.) and there are many minor sins which is common nowadays.

A muslim is a human being and not a robot, where he asks forgiveness for his major sins but doesn’t ask forgiveness for his minor sins. Instead, we should expect a Muslim to be asking forgiveness for all his sins. These kind of robotic questions are part of our traditional fiqh, where they ignore the human factor of a Muslim and try to give him a robotic routine for every scenario.

Having said that, we have been told that minor sins are forgiven by Allah on different occasions, like while doing Wuzu, forgiveness of sins from one Salah to another, forgiveness of sins from one friday to another. It is the major sins which require proper penance and recompense.

Drinking alcohol, Eating pork are not minor sins, they’ve been explicitly prohibited in Quran and are only allowed to be consumed when one is feeling for his/her life. It is true that adultery is explictly prohibited, so are fawahish, which come way before the copulation.

Secondly, it is the attitude that matters as well, if someone keeps committing even the minor sins with an attitude of arrogance, that might make him a perpetrator of Arrogance (‘istakbar’).
