Salaam, on the issue of imamat of women Javed Sahab uses the hadith of Umm Waraqa. Although he is the one who says that one must only consider authentic hadiths like that in bukhari and Muslim he uses a weak hadith as his daleel . Please explain why Ghamidi Sahab accepts a hadith of doubted authenticity and rejects other such hadiths whose chain of narrators is disputed.

Ghamidi sahab has explained that there’s no prohibition of women leading prayers in the Quran or the Sunnah. Hadith of Umme Waraqa is only used as a secondary verification of this viewpoint. Also the said hadith is in Sunan Abu Dawud and is verified as Hassan by Sheikh Al-Bani.

Doesn’t imamat of male verified through Ijma and Tawatur? If this is the case then what is the istadlaal of female imamat? Should we accept Akhbaare Ahad which contradicts Ijma and Tawatur?

Please see the response shared by Umer Qureshi sahab above. It is evident that imamat was never established exclusively for men even during the time of Prophet SAW. Ijma and tawatur has to be established from the the time of Prophet SAW.
