    Is wearing jeans or sarong or vetti(a type of south asian clothing) below ankles haram.,i read the previous discussions.but i want a clear answer,please,jazakallahu khair

    Lot of south asian muslims wear sarong.some below their ankles or above but no sighns of arrogance.is it ok then.is izar included.

      Sarong is similar to tehband and the above prohibition only relates to tehband or similar attire that if they’re allowed to dangle below the ankles, then they to some extent resemble the appearance of the arrogant; so care must be exercised even if the purpose to make them dangle is not arrogance. However, this resemblance is only reflected in the tehband or similar attire like a Sarong; it has no similarity with a shalwar, a pajama and a trouser.
