If someone performed the Sajda Sahw for a prayer and afterwards realized they made another mistake they did not intend the original Sajda Sahw for – do you they have to repeat the Sajda Sahw?

Example: Praying the Sajda Sahw for mispronouncing a word, going back and correcting it and proceeding with the prayer. After the prayer, one remembers with conviction that they also mispronounced another word. Do they have to go back and perform a second Sajda Sahw?

Also, I read that if a long time passes between [1] praying [2] realizing a mistake – Sajda Sahw cannot be performed and the prayer has to be repeated. Is this correct?

These application matters are ijtihadi in nature as there can be endless possibilities in this regard. One has to decide for himself /herself that which course of action requires a sajda-e-sehaw genuinely. It is an individual decision, and if done with all sincerity, then there won’t be any burden on the person Insha’Allah. Performance of single Sajda-e-Sehaw, in my opinion, would compensate for all the mistakes or doubts one was having, including those one came to know after some time.

Even if a long time passes, Sajda-e-Sehaw can still be done and there’s no need to repeat the Prayer.

Please refer to the following portion of Ghamidi Sahab’s book Meezan where all narrations regarding Sajda-e-Sahaw have been collected in one place and from these narrations, you’ll be able to see the application of Sajda-e-Sehaw principle with much clarity.
