Space was created along when the universe was created. Regarding creation of universe, Quran says…
کیا وہ لوگ جنہوں نے (نبیؐ کی بات ماننے سے) انکار کر دیا ہے غور نہیں کرتے کہ یہ سب آسمان اور زمین باہم ملے ہوئے تھے، پھر ہم نے اِنہیں جدا کیا، اور پانی سے ہر زندہ چیز پیدا کی کیا وہ (ہماری اس خلّاقی کو) نہیں مانتے؟ [21:30] Do the unbelievers not realize that the heaven and the earth used to be one solid mass that we exploded into existence? And from water we made all living things. Would they believe?
آسمان کو ہم نے اپنے زور سے بنایا ہے اور ہم اِس کی قدرت رکھتے ہیں [51:47] We constructed the sky with our hands, and we will continue to expand it.

یعنی کے ہر چیز سے پہلے اللہ نے خلاء کو خلق کیا تھا؟

دوسری بات یہ کہ قرآن کہتا ہے زمین و آسمان باہم جڑے ہوے تھے یعنی کہ اس وقت بھی خلاء موجود تھی جب ابھی زمین آسمان باہم جڑے ہوے تھے کیونکہ کہ ان جڑے ہوئے مادہ کو رکھنے کے لیے بھی خلاء موجود ہونی چاہیے
یعنی خلاء ہی سب سے پہلی تخلیق ہے

Not necessarily. We don’t know, but space is not necessary for the creation of the universe. Our brain is not capable of imagining something being created into or out of nothing. If you look into Quantum Physics a particle can be in two places at the same time and it can go back in the past and future. There is not time or distance for Quantum particles. Also based on the observation of a human being, the behavior of particle seems to change. All this we can’t imagine either, but there is proof that it happens.

Brother Quran is a book for guidance and it deals with human life and human affairs. It explains whatever is necessary to stress a point relative to human life and society
Therefore it is not a healthy approach to come to Quran with questions not related to humans. Because Quran may not answer or answer incompletely
Right now we do not have any data, scientific or religious to be sure of nature of space or age of space. No scientist or religious scholar can answer with certainty.

I agree with you brother Faraz. Regarding the concept of space, we do not know. We can’t say either way if the space existed before or after the creation of universe. Everything is possible. My reference to scientific facts was not to comment on the concept of space, but the concept that anything is possible even beyond our imaginations. We shouldn’t limit our imaginations within the constraints of human mind and the law of phyhsics.

سر یہ فیکٹ ہے کہ کوئی بھی وجود جگہ کے بغیر ممکن ہی نہیں اگر ہے تو اس کا نام بتائیں
اور آپ نے بھی اس جملے میں جگہ کا لفظ استعمال کیا ہے حالانکہ کہ آپ تو یہ بتانا چاہ رہے تھے ہر وجود کے لیے جگہ ہونا ضروری نہیں

بھائی میرا سوال اگر چہ انسانوں کی اصلاح کہ مطلق نہ صحیح مگر آپ میری اپروچ کو غلط کیسے کہہ سکتے ہیں قرآن میں اللہ سبحان تعالیٰ اس کائنات کے بارے میں بیان کر کے یہ مطالبہ کرتا ہے کہ تم لوگ اس کائنات پر غور کیوں نہیں کرتے اور اگر غور کریں گے تو یہ سوال بھی پیدا ہوں گے اور سوال کیا بھی جائے گا

Yes brother, Allah does ask us to ponder on the universe but doesn’t say to ask Quran for answers.
Allah is asking for an independent inquiry of nature and under how the universe is working to find confirmation for tauheed.
Whole hadith literature is empty of such approach of looking at the world around us and going back to Quran for answers. Muslim scientist also never put forward Quran to confirm or approve their discoveries
This approach of testifying scripture with science is 2-300 yrs old and though not incorrect but a slippery slope

بھائی ہمارا ایمان ہے کہ قرآن اگر کسی بارے میں بتائے گا تو حقیقت ہوگی اور سائنس کی طرح کوئی تھیوری نہیں ہو گی اور بہت سے سائنسی معلومات ہمیں قرآن سے مل چکی ہیں جو حقیقت ہیں تھیوری نہیں تو میں نے اپنے سوال کو قرآن سے جاننے کی کوشش کرتی ہوئے یہ سوال کیا تھا کہ شاید سپیس کہ بارے میں بھی اللہ سبحان تعالیٰ نے کوئی معلومات دی ہو اور میں اس سوال کی حقیقت جان لوں مگر آپ مجھ پر قرآن س جواب مانگنے کا الزام لگا رہے ہیں

I only wanted to point out that Quran is not a book of science and we should not look for any confirmations from Quran regarding scientific discoveries.

سر آپ معافی مانگ کر آپ مجھے شرمندہ نہ کریں آپ نے بلکل ٹھیک کہا ہے قرآن سائنس کی کتاب نہیں بلکہ انسانوں کو اللہ سبحان کا تعارف کرواتی ہے اور آخرت کی تعلیم دیتی ہے اور جنت کی بشارت دیتی ہے اور جہنم سے ڈراتی ہے تاکہ لوگ آخرت میں کامیاب ہو جائیں مگر اس میں اللہ سبحانہ وتعالی اپنی کچھ تخلیقات کی بھی وضاحت کرتے ہیں جسے ہم سائنس کہتے ہیں بس میں نے بھی صرف اس وجہ سے یہ سوال کیا تھا
