They are not discontinued, Meezan lectures are scheduled for the last Saturday and Sunday of every month. And this practice has been instituted from the last month (if my memory serves me right).

That’s correct. This is in order to increase the pace of Al-Bayan lectures. Ghamidi sahab has already taught Meezan before, but has never completely taught Al-Bayan.
