Sadqa And Zakat Difference
As Ghamidi sb says there is no difference between Sadqa and khairat. It’s just that Zakat is a must and saqda depends on one’s will.
We see sometimes people ask for donations but say Zakat not applicable. Can we give our zakat money to them?
Secondly can sadqa and zakat be given to mosque?
Is there any difference between the receivers of Zakat and Sadqa ?

Zakah can be used for any good purpose, even the building of a Masjid. The Quran (9:60) has stipulated the heads on which Zakah can be used and one of them is
فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
(fi sabilillah): This includes all expenses for serving Islam and for the welfare of the people.

1 question is still there What about people who say zakat not applicable means they don’t want you to give zakat money. Only sadqa or khairat. Can we give them money from our zakat?

It doesn’t matter what they say, if you find some cause to be serving Islam or for the welfare of the people, you can give your zakat money to that cause.
