    I play a game called FIFA. In this game there is a feature where you can buy packs, which include player cards. These packs cost a certain amount and the pack value can be more or less than I spent. However, you can buy these packs with real money or coins earnt through playing.

    I have never spent any real money on opening packs in this game as this would clearly be gambling. However, if I use coins which I earnt through playing this game to open these packs would it be considered haram?

    These cards cannot be sold for real money after opening the pack.

    I don’t see anything objectionable whether you’re spending real money to buy such packs or using coins to buy them.
