Hadith Collected After 200 Years
Assalamualaikum
There is a objection usually made on Islam that Islamic history was written after some 200 years and also by Muslims (which can only choose good from that) and there is also a principle in Usool e Ahadith that things against the morals of Prophet SAW may not be accepted and also if it contradicts with Quran may not be accepted.So first it is written after such a long time and also by Muslims themselves. So how can it be reliable on the criteria set by western academics?

Since religion is preserved completely in Quran and Sunnah, therefore, no Hadith book can have an impact on that religion. Whatever falls within ambit of this religion (i.e. Quran and Sunnah), will be accepted and whatever negates that, will be referred back to the narrator.
Ghamidi Sahab is of view that Hadith collection happened in a natural way, how sayings of big personalities are initially transmitted orally among people and are written down later at some point, which in this case was no other than Last Prophet himself (SWS).
