For something to be declared Haram in religion, there should be a proper and explicit ‘nas‘ (reference) available for that. There is no such reference which explicitly prohibits something because one get extremely emotional after engaging in that activity. However, for decisions surrounding these matters which are not covered in religion, one has been given intellect and power to reach an informed decision based on that intellect.
