Private parts to hide, is a well known tradition of civilized world from the beginning of history. God tells Adam and Eve to hide their private parts as soon as they got conscious of them.
Sex organs and women’s bosom are considered private parts. For better covering, it is recommended to hide the area around the private parts too. Here comes scholars opinions. Some make it from navel to knees for men, and the whole body of women except for face hands and feet. One may differ with this opinion of extra covering. It can be different from culture to culture and situation to situation.
