How Ghamidi Sahab see this criticism on quran . This is the criticism on quran by Swami Dayanand Saraswati

“Had the God of the Quran been the Lord of all creatures, and been Merciful and kind to all, he would never have commanded the Muhammedans to slaughter men of other faiths, and animals, etc. If he (God) is Merciful, won’t he show mercy even to the sinners? If the answer be given in the affirmative, it (the Quran) cannot be true, because further on it is said in the Quran “Put infidels to sword,” in other words, he that does not believe in the Quran, and the Prophet Mohammad is an infidel (he should, therefore, be put to death). Since the Quran sanctions such cruelty to non-Muhammedans and innocent creatures such as cows it can never be the Word of God.”

God is not just merciful, He is Just too. If His mercy prevails upon the evil doers, it is cruelty in itself. So, to be Just is the outcome of being merciful. and Justice entails punishment too for evil doers.

God is even merciful to sinners when they repent, but he never extend His mercy to who commit sin or infidelity knowingly and then do not repent.

The killing of the Polytheist of Arabia was a special order of Allah which is not likely to extend to all non-Muslims. That special order falls under the Law of Itmam ul Hujjah. According to the law, the direct addresses of a Rasul eventually put to death after the truth is communicated to them conclusively.
