Should Anklets Be Hidden In Front Of Non Mehrams?
Assalam O Alaikum!
Few days ago i asked a question about wrist…that shoukd we cover our wrists when adorned with bracelets or bangles and i got an answer that no we dont need to hide jewellery on places which are usually apparent such as face hands wrist and feet…can we add ankles in this list?…for example if i am wearing an anklet and it is visible and i go out for an event like wedding and non mehrams are also there…do i need to hide them when worn or the same ruling woukd be applied as for face, hands,wrist and feet?

It again depends on the cultural norms. If anklets falls in the category of causal adornment, you may expose it. But if it is a special adornment which may arouse extra attention, just like adornment on chest, it should be hidden. The individual person needs to decide based upon the norms of their culture.
