Quran says you’ll remain on top of the world if you are a believer.

Does this ayat refers to a community or an individual can relate himself with this ayat too.

    Can someone elaborate this ayat.

As I heard from Ghamidi sahab in a Meezan lecture that Imaan is not something an orthodox or just a religious thing.

Just like we believe facts and theories derived by science, here we believe some realities about world and hereafter which Almighty tells us through his revelations.

This makes a lot of sense.

If we see the time of prophet Muhammad pbuh, he and his companions became successful within 15 years of struggle.

So if we see imaan from broad perspective, means believing in both religious facts and scientific derivations, is this ayat applicable to us too?

This ayat is the perspective of a special and exclusive rule of Allah according to which He had made a covenant with the progeny of Abraham (Bani Israel and Bani Ishmael) that if they followed the faith and its requirements, they will prosper and be triumphant against their opponents. This verse belongs to Bani Ishmael, the tribe of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
