    Genuinely confused about this.

Could Someone Explain why, even though our Prophet PBUH had total 13 spouses, only the 9 Wives are considered Mothers of Believers?

How is it that, because the four women he married were Slave Women, this makes them unworthy of being Mothers of Believers?

This seems unreal, especially since one of these women bore him his most beloved son, Ibrahim ( from Slave Woman Maria ).

These four women could have been Muslimahs, yet we don’t consider them honourable?

( if I stated anything wrong, please correct me )

There’s clearly some misconception here. All spouses of Prophet SAW are mothers of the believers (ummahat-ul-momineen).

For details about Prophet SAW’s marriages please watch:

JazakAllah Khair for clearing this misconception for me!

I just wanted to clarify further: even the spouses acquired through the milkul yameen marriage are Mothers of Believers?

As I stated above – all spouses.
