Assalamu Alaikum. There are 2 sisters – 25 and 26 years old.

Their father changes their age when they were in 8th grade. A change of 1 year in their age.

Real and new Date of Birth:

    Sister X was 8 Dec 1996 – Now it is 24 Dec 1997

    Sister Y was 24 Dec 1997 – Now it is 24 Dec 1998

Now Sister X (the elder sister is in Australia for study) and her all the documents (degrees, NIC, Passport etc) in Pakistan and Australia has the new age.

Sister Y is nowadays following religion to the depth and not want to lie in her age in any place. She wants to change her age but the problem is, her too documents have the new age. What should Sister Y do?

And if she changes her age to previous age, both the ages of 2 sisters will exactly be same and Sister X might be in trouble in Australia. This has become a trouble now. What should be done now?

    PLEASE REPLY.

There’s nothing that needs to be done. The documents were not originally prepared by either sister so they’re not accountable for it. The only thing that they should be mindful of is not to use this discrepancy to fool anyone in order to gain any advantage.
