Is Fardh Prayer Only Mandatory?
Asalamoalaikum!
Is Fardh Prayers enough to satisfy the required prayers per prayer time?
Usually we are taught the mandatory prayers for each prayer time being( I might be wrong on this. Other people might have differentiating opinions ):
Fajr
: 2 Sunnat, 2 Fardh
Zuhur: 4 Sunnat, 4 Fardh
Asr: 4 Sunnat, 4 Fardh
Maghreb: 3 Fardh, 2 Sunnah
Isha: 4 Sunnat, 3 Witr, 2 Nafl OR 4 Sunnat, 4 Fardh, 3 Witr, 2 Nafl
( please note that this is not my interpretion of the total numbers of rakaats or types of prayers per prayer time, but the recommended types of prayers for each prayer time )
Sometimes I end up praying only Fardh per prayer time, but feel as if I’m doing something completely wrong by leaving out the rest.
Is Fardh only mandatory, or must we pray other types of rakats as well?

The compulsory rakats are as follows; when we offer them we get rewarded, and if we don’t, we’ll be questioned on the day of judgement. Anything additional is optional – if we offer it we’ll be rewarded, but if we don’t we will not be questioned.
Fajr – 2 rakats
Zurh – 4 rakats
Asr – 4 rakats
Maghrib – 3 rakats
Isha – 4 rakats

Sir would the listed Rakaats be Fardh only?

Yes these are fard (compulsory rakats). As Umer sahab pointed out, anything additional is optional. There’s reward for offering optional rakats but if some doesn’t then they won’t be questioned about them on the Day of Judgement.
