I would like to know under what type of travelling one is exempted keeping fast, I travel by metro to college and the distance is around 1 hr and 15 mins, also the walking distance from the station to college and my home is around 10 mins sometimes I don’t take an auto and walk to save money, although I’ll keep fast but in any case, if I feel tired would I be exempted from keeping it?

It is to be decided by the person. The principle is to avoid hardship in the matters of worship. No specific distance can be appointed. A long journey on an aeroplane may be more comfortable than travelling within a city on local transport.
