My question is that why Ghamidi SB is Against Secularism?

I mean if a state doesn’t adopt any religion, it will behave equally with all the religions which will encourage peace, harmony and justice.

We have examples of Western and Scandinavian countries which are far better countries and nations as compared to Islamic and Communist countries. Are far better than Capitalist America in the sense of peace because any ideology doesn’t bring killings or movements.

If the whole world gets Secular and religion becomes the practice of individuals who spread Islam through many other ways and become Muslims from soul; Not Muslims from appearance… Isn’t it a far better idea than being a country of any ideology???

And what does he say about Pakiatani Society? At the moment, seeing intolerance, bad governance and poverty… Socialism looks the Messiah of Pakiatan. Socialism demands a key role of state. Don’t you think that Socialism should be practiced in Pakiatan as it is much better than Capitalism and Communism??

When we say secularism, it not only means the separation of religion and state, but also an active act on the part of the government to banish religion and sometimes even to promote atheism. What Ghamidi sahab argues is that a state needs to be democratic instead. Hopefully the following video will shed some light.
