Is Combining Prayers During Hajj Sunnah?
ASSALAMUALAIKUM
We see that at one point during Hajj everyone doing Hajj combine the Zuhur with Asr and Maghrib with Isha? Is it Sunnah?
If yes then does this refute the point of Fiqh Hanafi which says that combining prayers like that is no allowed except Hajj?

Yes, it has been instituted by the Prophet Muhammad (sws) as Sunnat-e-Mutawatra for Hajj.
Hajj is a symbolic expression (‘tamsil‘) of Jihad against Satan and it is because of this condition of Jihad (undue hardship/’ghair mamoli mushaqqat’), shortening and combining of Prayer had been instituted by the Prophet (sws) during Hajj.
