Ghamidi sb in 1 video claimed that personal istemal k sone(gold) pe zakat nahi hoti. My question is what is non-personal sona. Eg, if a person has 500 tola sona for wearing on different ocassions then us pe zakat nahi? Ese to desi household mn ksi sone pe zakat nahi hogi?? Thank you

A person has to decide with utmost honesty which of the gold has been kept as an investment and which has been kept for personal use.

With all due to respect, how did ghamidi saab reach this conclusion, about personal things are exempt from zakat. Any reference from hadith, or event from prophet’s(pbuh) life?

It is Sunnat-e-Mutawatra instituted by the Prophet (sws) that items of personal use are exempt from Zakat. An individual may differ in its application and its scope, but the Sunnah is agreed upon.
