Now that it is absolutely true that this world is built on the principle of examination, it is obvious that one thing will have both advantages and disadvantages. So in the modern age of technology which has both advantages and disadvantages, should we refuse to use technology and live a simple life or should we take advantage of it and ignore the negative aspects?

We are only supposed to refrain from any negative uses of anything and are free to use things for their positive uses. This is independent of today’s technology. Even a rock can be used for the purpose of worshiping (polytheism) – a negative use, or for building a shelter for your family – a positive use.
