Is Khatna obligatory for Muslim men and converted Muslim?

Also, is Khatna allowed/recommend for women in Islam.

I read some scholars saying Khatna for women is recommended as it moderates their desire. Isn’t it wrong. Many women doesn’t have strong sexual desire. And reducing it more is taking her basic rights.

Circumcision is fard for all newborn male children in a Muslim family. There’s no concept of female circumcision in Islam.

      What about converted Muslim men?

Do they always need to do?

No. None of the adult Non-Muslims were asked by Prophet SAW to perform circumcision upon accepting Islam.
