Tracing The Tawatur Of The Quran
Also, want to ask anther question. We know Quran reached us through Tawatur. But the fact itself that it was directly memorized by a large number of companions of Prophet(pbuh). Has this reached us through tawatur too? If yes, then how can we trace it?

لہذا کسی سند کو نہ پرکھا جائے نہ کسی خبر واحد کو دیکھا جائے بلکہ امت کے اجماع کو دیکھا جائے اور یہ اجماع فہم کا اجماع نہ سمجھا جائے بلکہ یہ اجماع نسل بعد نسل منتقل ہوا ہے اور ہمیشہ منتقل ہوتا رہا ہے
اب ان کے اس اجماع کو کیسے جانچا جائے؟

Ijma and Tawatur is not something which some people would claim out of blue, rather the whole community endorses such facts as being perpetually transmitted as such. The example quoted above is not very apt because:
1) Quran has itself discussed the method of Wudu and Quran being the ultimate source of this transmission (ijma and tawatur) is superior to every other notion.
2) It is a well documented academic fact that differences in the method of Wudu are based on differences in the interpretation of the Quranic text.
