1.) Can anyone be witness without appointment ?

2.) Does witness should know that he has been made witness? Or without him. Having knowledge that he has been made witness without consulting him or taking his permission

3.) Is any process of making or appointing witness? Means asking them to become witness or taking their permission for witnessing (as they can even deny or not agree to become witness) or they should agree to be witness ( as without asking or permission they themself don’t know that they are witness which has to testify) ..

If this is in regards to business transactions then I’m not sure how anyone can be made a witness without them knowing the transaction that they’re witnessing.

There’s no process of appointment of witnesses defined by Islam, but it’s just common sense that we would appoint witnesses with their knowledge and permission so that they will be able to present themselves in a court in an unfortunate event if a disagreement arises.
