Medical Termination Of Pregnancy At 25th Week For Foetal Birth Defect
Antenatal meningocele in 25th week found on Abdominal usg
Birth defect is to immediately operated within 72 hours of birth after caesarean with a few major and minor complications after surgery which includes bowel and bladder dysfunction with possible lower limbs weakness and even death during surgery.
Can i proceed for medical termination of pregnancy or continue with pregnancy.

As per Ghamidi Sahab, normal abortion cannot be done after 120 days of conception (even before 120 days, there should be a genuine reason for abortion). The only exception in this case is to save the life of Mother under principle of ‘Iztarar‘.
