Quran 7:32 – Can Science & Technology Be Categorized As Zeenat
Ask, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Who has forbidden the adornments and lawful provisions Allah has brought forth for His servants?” Say, “They are for the enjoyment of the believers in this worldly life, but they will be exclusively theirs on the Day of Judgment.1 This is how We make Our revelations clear for people of knowledge.”

زینت کا لفظ عربی زبان میں اُن چیزوں کے لیے آتا ہے جن سے انسان اپنی حس جمالیات کی تسکین کے لیے کسی چیز کو سجاتا بناتا ہے۔ چنانچہ لباس، زیورات وغیرہ بدن کی زینت ہیں؛ پردے، صوفے، قالین، غالیچے، تماثیل، تصویریں اور دوسرا فرنیچر گھروں کی زینت ہے؛ باغات، عمارتیں اور اِس نوعیت کی دوسری چیزیں شہروں کی زینت ہیں؛ غنا اور موسیقی آواز کی زینت ہے؛ شاعری کلام کی زینت ہے
