Quranic Verses About Attributes Of Allah
Salam,
For the past week or so I’ve been plagued by questions regarding the Noble attributes of God.
So for instance take this ayat,
“قُلْ اِنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللّٰهِ ۚ يُؤْتِيْهِ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ ۗوَاللّٰهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيْمٌ ۚ”
-Surah Aal e Imran verse 73.
Would it be said that the phrase “Everything is in Allah’s hands” is referring to Allah’s attribute of control? As the Ashaira say.
Or would we not interpret this ayat at all? As some ahlul hadith say.
I’m aware Ghamidi sahab has said that Kalam should tell us when something is being used literally or metaphorically, but in this case his tafsir is empty of debates such as these.
I want to know whether Ghamidi sahab considers “Wajhullah” or “Yadullah” as attributes or not?
