There are two things to consider when we talk about halal meat: (i) tazkiya (draining of blood) and (ii) tasmiya (reciting Allah’s name at the time of slaughtering an animal). In Ghamidi sahab’s view both are absolute requirements. Therefore, when either of the conditions was not fulfilled, the meat would not be considered Halal.
