    Salamalikum,

    If Eid Al-Adha marks the culmination of the hajj (pilgrimage) rites at Mina then why in Pakistan Eid Al-Adha is celebrated a day later?

    There is no compulsion, we can celebrate according to the calendar Hajj is performed. However, since Muslims follow the calendar of their country, they celebrate all rituals related to dates likewise.
