From 26.16 to 26.50
Like how can one give preference to his opinion compared to consensus of Sahaba like Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali RA etc, those who had spent their lives with Rasool SAW, the only source of religion now?

Ijma itself is not Hujjah, if there is Ijma, it will be validated not because there is Ijma on something, but because the argument it is based upon. So the real worth is of argument on Ijma. There is probability that there may be a human error of misunderstanding by one or many many. All that is needed to evaluate an academic stance on the basis of argument.
