  • Rights Of Non-muslims In A State Run Based On Guidance Of Quran And Sunnah

Yasir Qadhi states in his following facebook post https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10158054778088300&id=19667888299

While there is a lot of discussion regarding the specifics, not a single school of law gave such population the exact same rights and privileges as those given in the Shariah to believers.

For some Muslims living in the west, these laws form a source of embarrassment, how can we demand our rights when the Shariah does not seem to give those rights to others.

What are Quran and Sunnah’s principles regarding non-muslim rights and privileges in a Muslim state?

Jazakallah @Sohail for sharing the article. But it does not address what I am looking for. I am looking for something like this.

Based on Quran and Sunnah, these (……..) are the principles that should apply towards treatment of non-Muslims. In the schools of fiq (which is a human effort) with in their context they tried to apply these principles (xxxxx successfully and yyyyy unsuccessfully). In today’s environment following are few examples of how these principles can come to life.
