Quran 21:30 – In The Context Of Big Bang
أَوَلَمۡ یَرَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ أَنَّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ كَانَتَا رَتۡقࣰا فَفَتَقۡنَـٰهُمَاۖ وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمَاۤءِ كُلَّ شَیۡءٍ حَیٍّۚ أَفَلَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ﴿ ٣٠ ﴾
• Dr. Mustafa Khattab:
Do the disbelievers not realize that the heavens and earth were ˹once˺ one mass then We split them apart? And We created from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?
Al-Anbiya’, Ayah 30
Most people present this Ayah as an argument for the Big Bang but Ghamidi Sb’s tafsir is entirely opposite to that and he talks about the sky and the Earth instead instead of space?
