    Assalamualaikum

What would Islam say if i act upon some opinion of someone i trust (not maybe ask for evidence everytime as a common person) but ready to leave that opinion of that trustable person when i get some evidence against that. For example if someone trusts on Ghamidi sahab as a religious scholar, and in many of his opinions he gets Ghamidi sahab’s opinion the right one. Now he trusts of Ghamidi sahab and (as a common person) will take Ghamidi sahab’s opinion and maybe wouldn’t ask for some evidence because he trusts on him?

This is the matter of sense and reasoning. One should always try to follow the logic and arguments which one finds acceptable in the light of his intellect and knowledge whatever he has with honesty. Yes, if someone builds trust in someone, he may go with it, but should be ready to go against it when a better arguments comes up.
