The scenario is that if a Muslim has a reason for not wanting children because of a good reason and hence doesn’t want children. Can such a Muslim still get married for other reasons other than taking part in Allah’s scheme for raising children?

I ask this question because in one of his videos, Ghamidi Sahab (https://youtu.be/H6VN-tW-wGk?t=68761:54:37 – 1:56:15) said that if you are marrying for any other intention other than taking part in Allah’s scheme then you are opening doors of destruction to this institute.

So it seems the institution of marriage should be left only to those who have intention to bear children?

    Thank you.

It seems what I understood from these videos is that it’s not ideal to marry for other reasons other than Allah’s scheme but since there is no alternative to marriage, marriage for other reasons is acceptable, correct?

Also what about the strong words that Ghamidi Sahab said in the video I linked, that if you never married for the purpose of having children but still maintained the marriage, you are opening a way for the institution’s destruction? Can you clarify that?

That statement shared in the Question was in the context of couple using this excuse of not having children as a basis for fornication outside of marriage, which cannot be allowed on the basis of this excuse and would tantamount to destruction of instituion of family at a societal level.
