    Like,

    1. Going to each others houses
    2. Hanging out in public places like movie theatres, restaurants, theme parks with a mixed group of friends consisting of 5-6 people or more
    3. Travelling & camping with a mixed group of friends (consisting of 5-6 friends or more)
    4. Talking to them on phone & video chatting
    5. Giving each other high fives occasionally (like in the western countries, when it comes to group works, people often give each other high fives after a successful project)

    6. Wishing Happy Birthday to each other and exchanging gifts for these kinds of occasions

Among these activities, Which ones are allowed and which ones would be considered over the line according to Javed Ahmed Ghamidi Sahib’s view?

[And please give the answer in English, My knowledge of Urdu is terrible]

Whatever action is going to lead to sex outside of marriage, would be haraam. I’ve seen “Paternity Court”, you can watch it on YouTube. In movies and soap operas, they show premarital sex to be a beautiful thing. But in reality, it leads to serious chaos. The trauma of that is most inflicted upon the children who result from that relationship.

You are the best judge to decide what “that” action would be, which could lead to un-marital sex. But that would happen if you are honest with your own self. People don’t think about it seriously and honestly. When stopped from doing something, they say, “oh, this is JUST so and so”, “oh, we ONLY JUST did so and so stuff, it’s nothing serious.” These “Onlys” and “Justs” lead to both people ending up having sex which is unregulated. This happens to married people as well. If you don’t make a habit of controlling your interactions by yourself, before marriage, you’ll do it even after marrying someone sooner or later. If God’s words couldn’t stop someone, what status does their husbands/wives have ?…

A couple of minutes of fun could lead to another future human being not knowing who their father is. This happens all the time. Think about this before having “JUST fun” with the opposite gender. You’ll know what to do and what not to do.
