If a man died Muslim then why there is a need to ask the same question like who is your Creator what is your deen? In grave?

Such questions will be asked from the person who lived in the time of the prophets, who witnessed the prophet to give them their reward or punishment. one of the questions is, what do you say of this man (the holy prophet). For these people the reward and punishment starts in their life, after Itmam ul Hujjah. Then this process continued after death and will be culminated in the hereafter in the form of Jannat or Jahannam. For ordinary people, their death is a period of like sleep till they wake up on the day of judgement. Quran tells:
And the Horn will be blown; and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten. (51) They will say, “O woe to us! Who has raised us up from our sleeping place?” [The reply will be], “This is what the Most Merciful had promised, and the messengers told the truth.” (36: 51-52)
