It might be better to pray on the side or behind men so that everyone can remain focused. However, there’s no prohibition in Islam to pray in the front either.

I have seen women wanting pray in the car to avoid praying infront of na mahatma ( in public, on road for example). There isn’t any Islamic precedence for this right? I have frequently prayed in public infront of many people, in the office etc

The women in the time of the prophet used to pray in the mosque along with men. Women pray in Kaaba in front of men.
