Loving Your Brother As Yourself And Competition
Hello,
There’s a Hadith that is being narrated often.
Narrated Anas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself

Can you explain what does this hadith mean according to the framework of Islam. And what about competing with others in matters of good and worldly benefitting matters. Like a person competing another merchant in competitive market, tries to make more and more incentives to customers (better than those of his competitor) or to attract more potential customers, so they choose him over his competitor merchant. He does not wish bad for another merchant but is also competing to make himself earn money as well. And what about entrance tests of university, where a student competes with another student to reach limited seats of admissions in a university, he does not wish harm to others but also does not want them to out-compete him. How can we reconcile between them?
Like he does not want harm for his brother but also does not wishes as good for them to such an extent(they out-competing his own self), as he wishes for himself (wanting his own self to out-compete them)?
