My question is in a surah in Quran [ I forgot the name] it describes that On the day of Judgement Allah will come while His throne will be carried by 4 Angels.

How is This to be understood because Allah is not someone who site upon a Throne or HE is not fixated at a place or upon something. Can someone explain what This is?? How can Angels carry Allah and Him upon His Throne??? Wouldnt that be contradictory to the whole concept of Allah in Quran???

    Can someone explain?

    Thank you.

This is similar to one ayah where it states that on the last day the whole universe will be in Allah’s right hand.

Well as we know Allah is no like humans with hands. So we do not know what it means.

Another place in Quran it states that when Earth was created at some point it was fully covered with water and Allah’s throne was on water.

Same here. We do not know what it means.

Then why would Allah tell us something we cant understand?

      Can you explain that too?

      Thank you.

In my opinion, the Quran is for all times not for when it was revealed or for now. There are things in Quran that cannot be understood at each time and then there are things that can be understood at each time. This will continue until the last day. And then there will be things in Quran that would never be understood perhaps until we are resurrected.

The things we understand helps us establish belief in Allah. The things we don’t understand is our test of belief upon Allah. Just like we believe in Allah even though we never saw him or we don’t understand his existence. Also the things we do not understand brings awe as to the greatness of Allah and tickles our curiosity to find out more.

For example when Quran was revealed perhaps it would have made no sense to Arabs that Earth is round, Earth goes around the sun or the sun has its own orbit or all stars have its own orbit or universe was created suddenly from nothing.

Now a days these things are better understood and make us a believer that this book is from Allah.

Quran still has so many mysteries and knowledge that is still not understood. Such as there are 7 universes or the universe will end with a collapse like a folding of a book, etc. Perhaps this information is for people that will come a few hundred years after us.
