What Is Jahalat?
Jahalat. This word gets thrown around a lot. However, it’s definition, behaviors/attributes considered as those of jahalat differ depending on who you ask. Ghamidi sahb also says that muslim aqwaam can only rise on national level by eliminating jahalat from their qoum. So my question is what specific things come under jahalat.

one more technical question,
Is jahalat defined as ignorance or lack of ilmi attitude or is it the behaviour stemming from this lack of knowledge.
If the former is true, then what is meaning of calling some father who buried her daughter alive as jahalat
as how could this have been prevented by giving him knowledge or information.

Ignorance and lack of ilmi attitude can both result in Jahalat and sometimes one can complement the other.
One type of ignorance is that of basic morality which is given to every nafs and every human being comes with it. This can sometimes get clouded because of overwhelming power of wishes and prejudice. Burying of a daughter falls under the same prejudice of norms and customs of a society which when pointed out, one can easily discern to be against the basic morality. And sometimes one do such things under the same prejudice despite knowing them to be immoral.
